WE DO!!! And big floppy hats too. Only downside to the fabulous "chapeau" you see below is that I couldn't figure out how I was going to get it home short of wearing it on the plane. They might have made me pay for another seat! Things here are fabulous...including the weather. Didn't take my jacket off all day!

Off to San Fran tomorrow. Stopping in Sausalito on the way in to have a little breakfast and enjoy the scenery. More pictures to come....I have plenty to choose from because I took over 200 today alone!!

Weekend project...

So yesterday I told you about my trip to Joann's....well, here's the result! I picked up this really cute/really easy pattern for a little boy romper and girl jumper. I found this fabric and thought it would be perfect for the jumper. I think it turned out really well....now I just need Emma, my model to try it out!!! Hope you like Jess!!

A lot going on this week....I leave on Saturday for my two week stint in California. One week working and one week exploring Napa and San Fran with my mom. Needless to say I'm a little concerned about packing for a two week trip, but I think I'll get it figured out. Good thing mom can bring me anything I forget! Not sure what it's going to be like to be gone from home (and Clay) for two weeks, but I know my mom and I are going to have an incredible trip. I'm so blessed to be able to do this with her...just the two of us. Now let's just hope that we don't get into too much trouble!

I've died and gone to heaven....

Yesterday the new Joann's opened here in Birmingham. For those of you who live in town and are unaware (gasp), it is in the Riverchase Promenade across from the Galleria. I've been a little under the weather this week and completely forgot about the opening until last night. Needless to say, I was there today. I walked in the store and had one of those "AHHHH" moments...it was fabulous to say the least. I know I know....we have a Hancocks and a Michaels, but now we have a store where we can get everything in one place!!! Not to mention the store is less than two miles from my house!!! The store was clean and full of helpful employees. I also love the fabric cutting experience at Joann's. You pull a number and can then wander around the store waiting on your number to be called.

I picked up a couple of things today, so we'll see how they turn out! If you haven't been by there yet, I highly recommend! :)

It's Official....

The house is on the market! After many months of talking about putting the house on the market, it's done! So happy to have gotten through step #1. We are still looking at houses, but trying not to get to attached to any one house....that's the hard part for me!

Birthday Weekend!!!

I had a FABULOUS birthday weekend! Thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend so much fun, especially my sweet sweet husband. He truly made the weekend all about me (and Auburn football) and it was so much fun. Love you honey!

A star is born....or maybe not!

We are doing a LPGA golf tournament in California later this month. CVS is the title sponsor of the tournament, so we shot a commercial at the CVS in Cahaba Heights last week. This is the final spot...and since none of you live in California, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek! Meg and Jack came out to be in the commercial too. See if you can find us!!!

Such a slacker....

I've really been falling behind on my blogging lately....the truth is that I really haven't had all that much going on besides work and cleaning house to get ready for listing.

HOWEVER, this weekend I took a trip to Red Bay with Jaime and Jessica to visit Leah. For those of you who don't know, the four of us used to work at KPMG together. I won't go into the details, but let's just say that during the time we were all there, we went through A LOT and I think that it truly bonded us for life! It was great to just sit around and visit. We talked about how rare it is for four people who have gotten married, left jobs, moved, and had babies to remain as close as we all have. I'm so blessed to call these girls my friends. I LOVE YOU GIRLS!

Those of you who have heard me talk about putting the condo on the market for the last year and a half will be glad to know that we are officially listing this week! We are listing on forsale-byowner.com, and they will be at the house on Friday taking pictures. We are so excited about listing the house and keeping our fingers crossed for a quick sale. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you know anyone looking for a great place in Hoover, send them my way! :)

Also looking forward to two things this weekend.....the start of football season and my birthday!!! I'll officially be rolling over to the "late-twenties" category....but I think I can handle it!
